Philosophy Bites Podcast

On the theme of podcasts that have a lot of relevance to readers here, another treasure trove archive is the Philosophy Bites podcast presented by Nigel Warburton and David Edmonds. The format involves one of the presenters interviewing someone on a relatively defined philosophical topic usually over 10-30 minutes in duration. I have been listening on Spotify with a few combined in a queue usually while on a cross-trainer, something younger Liam would have found surprising. Below are ten examples that might be of interest to readers of this blog.

1. James Wilson on Real-World Ethics (September 2019)

2. Larry Temkin on Transitivity (July 2015)

3. Lisa Bortolloti on Irrationality (March 2015)

4. Jessica Moss on Weakness of Will (August 2013)

5. Molly Crockett on Brain Chemistry and Moral Decision-Making (July 2012)

6. Nick Bostrom on the Status Quo Bias (March 2012)

7. Paul Russell on David Hume's Treatise (April 2011)

8. Martha Nussbaum on the Value of the Humanities (December 2010)

9. Kate Soper on Alternative Hedonism (August 2009)

10. Roger Crisp on Utilitarianism (July 2007)
