Recent Advances in Causal Inference Workshop

This is a three day hands-on training workshop led by Michael Kühhirt, University of Cologne, Germany.

Answering causal questions is one of the central concerns of social research. This course provides an introduction into the logic and problems of causal inference with observational data based on the potential outcomes framework of causality and causal graphs. Furthermore, it discusses select statistical methods for causal analysis, including propensity score matching, marginal structural models, difference-in-differences and instrumental variable estimation.
