Its a strange and funny one to see in a pretty sad scene. Have been thinking since this started that possibility of an Irish nobel in Economics in, say, 2050 strongly increased by sheer saturation of debate about economic ideas in Ireland at present. Some of the debate random internet nonsense but often even day-to-day conversations get into detail of bond markets in a way that just wasnt at all there pre-crisis. Seeing a child with the latest economics book in hand is definitely not an image you would have seen in 2005.
