James Montier was recommended to me before by an industry practitioner in quantitative finance. At the time, Montier was producing behavioural insights in newsletters published by Société Générale. The following Amazon profile seems to be a good overview of Montier, and the books that he has published: Amazon.com: James Montier
ReplyDeleteThe profile says that: "...Montier is a member of GMO's asset allocation team. Prior to that, he was the co-Head of Global Strategy at Société Générale and has been the top-rated strategist in the annual Thomson Extel survey for most of the last decade. Montier is the author of three market-leading books, "Behavioral Finance: Insights into Irrational Minds and Markets"; "Behavioral Investing: A Practitioners Guide to Applying Behavioral Finance"; and "Value Investing: Tools and Techniques for Intelligent Investment". He is a Visiting Fellow at the University of Durham and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts."
There are links to all of the books mentioned above on his Amazon profile. As well as his latest book: "The Little Book of Behavioral Investing: How not to be your own worst enemy (Little Book, Big Profits)".
