This year's conference will be hosted by UCD, and for those of you who aren't familiar with it, ISNE was formed to encourage research, information and social links among students at the early stages of their careers in Ireland and Europe. So it's a great opportunity to present in a relaxed atmosphere. The conference is intended for PhD students though submissions related to all aspects of economics are also welcome from advanced masters students and young professionals. ISNE 2010 featured 28 sessions with over 100 speakers from 66 departments in 20 countries.
The call for papers is available here. Deadline for abstracts is May 30th, and the conference will be held on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th August. There will be keynotes by Professors Morgan Kelly (UCD) and Peter Neary (Oxford).
www.isne2011.com will be updated with further details.
Any hints on the theme of Morgan Kelly's presentation? (Willing to pay in whatever currency you so desire; I'll even throw in some R code for Alan.)
ReplyDeleteWho knows Keith, but it's bound to be entertaining. I'm sure Alan would appreciate the R code anyway
