Having spoken to the people who regularly post to and read the blog, everyone wanted to keep it running even if at a reduced volume of posting. So I don't see any problem with doing this. Furthermore, people wanted to retain the forum for posting information about external and internal events. Again, I think this is a good idea and we will continue to use the forum to publicise things that are happening here.
