From PISA data but hard to know how to interpret without knowing what the happiness measure is or the test scores measured.
"Happiness was ranked based on the percentage of students who agreed or disagreed with the statement “I feel happy at school.” Test scores were ranked based on the combined individual rankings of the students’ math, reading, and science scores." Looks believable (e.g. Korea exactly where one would expect) though would be interesting to see are the differences meaningful in magnitude.
Would be interesting to look at changes over time.
