Vox Pop on Knowledge of Current Economic Affairs

Stephen Kinsella points to a vox-pop asking people on Grafton street about their knowledge of current affairs. There is a mixed performance, with people seeming to have particular difficulty with the ECB and with the definition of a billion. Usual caveats about anecdotes apply and we don't know what selection mechanism led to answers making it into the video. Also, I don't think anybody on the video should feel bad as few people can really be confident how they would perform if someone stuck a camera in their face and asked questions on the spot. However, there is a serious issue about how well-informed people are (or need to be) about economics and economic institutions.
