A Message to You

Its amazing that this reggae/ska intertemporal choice anthem has remained off the blog for so long. My time preferences lecture may involve some singing this term.

If so, you may discover that your students seemingly have pathologically high discount rates as they scarper.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane Liam - I saw The Specials play the Hammersmith back in 1982. Bliss it was in that dawn to be alive, but to be young was very heaven ...

And keep up the great work in the New Year - all the best to the Geary Gang for 2010!

Cheers gerard. look forward to your "turbulence ahead" reflection through 2010. i have mostly argued that the psychological pain of unemployment trumps most of the gains from recessions. having said that, one gain is that Ireland is now a far more interesting place than in the last decade. Perhaps we will look back at the naughties as the real lost decade and the start of the upcoming decade as a period of awakening. it certainly feels good to be relatively young and awake to participate in all of this.
